The awareness begins.
Darkness surrounds with music so soft.
Comfort, warmth, softness, peacefulness.
Light filters around the curtains top,
Still low level but eyes begin to adjust.
System check…
Heart, slow, steady, oops that damned skip but nothing new.
Breathing slow, deep normal, no shortness.
Lungs expand and retract. No discomfort. That’s good sign.
Wish they could be like that all day.
Oxygen flow is easy. 95 maybe even 96% my guess.
All seems okay.
Oh the stretching of the legs, feels so good.
Toes wiggle good.
No emergency calls from the kids.
That’s good.
The brains fog begins to lift.
That Celtic girl singing again.
Wonder if she’s the one plays the violin too.
Doesn’t matter they are all visions of beauty.
But the sounds are well… just nice.
So soft and soothing.
I should go pee.
Naw, it’s still too cozy here.
Perhaps I’ll just stay here...
a little bit longer.
